Taykey is looking for a Topic Specialist to help drive success for clients using its dynamic media platform. The Topic Specialist plays a central role in making good on the promise of aligning client’s brands with every day’s biggest trending topics for their target audience. Leveraging Taykey’s proprietary Discovery Engine, this individual classifies the latest social conversations, enabling our Activation Engine to get clients’ ads in front of those users as those conversations are happening.
Active and on-going classification of trending conversations
Identifying the reason why a topic spiked and validating it
Working closely with account managers to ensure topic activation aligns as expected for individual brands
Analyzing and evaluating relative success of types of brands against types of topics and producing regular reports comparing them
Overseeing all topic “rationales” defined within the organization, editing as necessary and providing general best practices to the team regarding topic spike attribution
Providing product and process feedback regarding ways to improve how trending topics are tagged and ads are activated against them
Experience, skills and qualities desired:
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Enjoy writing and have solid previous experience doing it
Passion to be part of a start-up and help drive it to success
Demonstrated high level of initiative, presenting good ideas or solutions to problems encountered
Strong analytical aptitude and proficiency with Excel
Solid understanding of the online advertising industry and social media platforms
